Growth and development in Deanside VIC

Deanside was gazetted in 2017 from parts of Rockbank and Plumpton, and it is planned under the Kororoit Precinct Structure Plan, approved in 2018. The 2021 Census counted 654 residents. Estimates for 2026 put the figure near 6,000, with close to 3,000 dwellings approved in five years.

The Kororoit precinct plan includes a Deanside local town centre and protects the Deanside Homestead Complex.

Land along the Kororoit Creek corridor is earmarked for a future regional park, planned separately.

Estates include Bowery, Deanside Village, Monarch, One Deanside, Rosewood and Taylors Rise.

There is no railway station in the suburb; Caroline Springs station on the Ballarat line is the closest existing one.

Ongoing construction next door is a good reason to record your own home in a dilapidation report.
